SERVAES AVAILABLE FROM DEALERS

Our new deluxe tile series SERVAES can be found at our dealers in a range of sizes and editions from the beginning of October. This sustainable tile series is available in a broad range of sizes, and can be used together or combined with the wall tiles from the ELEMENTS series (using continuous joints). SERVAES is available in naturale (mat), grafico (distressed hammered motif) and lappato (semi-polished). Read more

NEW CONCEPTS ON THE WAY

After an intensive development process, Sphinx Tiles is currently putting the finishing touches to its Innovations 2011. Its new wall/floor concept SERVAES will be introduced in May at the renowned trade fairs Architect@work in Kortrijk (5-6 May) and 100% Design in Rotterdam (Van Nelle Design Factory, 26-27-28 May).

STRIPS PATTERN BOX

As an extra service the strips from our Belvédère range are also now available as a combi-box of three strip sizes (5x60 cm, 10x60 cm and 15x60 cm) in one shade. The combi-box (item codes: MZ…) contains three strips in each size, corresponding to a surface area of 0.54 m2.

SUSTAINABLE SPHINX TILES

Sphinx Tiles has become affiliated with the U.S. Green Building Council. The USGBC draws up standards for sustainable buildings and guarantees these standards through their Leed ® certification programme (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Based on their sustainable production methods and technical sustainability features, various Sphinx Tiles products can help improve the sustainability of buildings through their contribution to the required Leed ® ratings. As a first step, the Belvédère and Servaes series have been certified by Certiquality, an independent institute. Our developments for the future are just as focused on sustainability.

FLAT R11/A+B+C SHOWER TRAY TILES 8 MM THICK

After introducing shower tray tiles to the Campagne and Spectrum concepts, Sphinx Tiles completes its shower tray system with a flat, anti-slip R11/A+B+C variant. As they are just 8 mm thick, these tiles fit seamlessly on the thickness of the matching corner and edge tiles. These tiles may also be used outside the shower area as anti-slip tiles. Read more

RONALD McDONALD KINDERVALLEI INN READY

Sphinx Tiles has supported the Ronald McDonald Kindervallei in Valkenburg aan de Geul since the impressive 'rainbow spiral' house was constructed in 2006. With the support of various businesses from the region, the Inn was recently constructed on the site: This building provides accommodation for children with a handicap. Read more

NEW COLLECTIONS AT VSK FAIR

For Sphinx Tiles, the VSK Fair in Utrecht was all about introducing the new Campagne and Céramique tile concepts as well as the considerable expansion of the Belvédère flagship collection. The names of the series refer explicitly to the architectural evolution in Maastricht, the city of their creation, in which the uncompromising amalgamation of design and functionality form the basis for the development of the new tiles.
